Steven Rinehart is a Utah trademark attorney handling IP matters.

Steve obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah College of Law in 2003.  He studied Computer Science and English as an undergraduate, graduating from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah in 2000. Before becoming a lawyer, Steve founded and sold several Internet companies, including eWatches.com and PrizeWise.com, which both grossed nearly $1 million in revenue during their first fiscal years.  Steven also founded theopticon.com, a free legal file exchange. 

Steve has prepared and prosecuted over 200 trademark applications, and has handled over 150 trademark infringement disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy (UDRP), winning more than two-thirds of those he has handled.  Steve has also handled approximately twenty trademark infringement lawsuit in federal court, including in rem Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) actions in Alexandria, Virginia.  Steve is the only lawyer to have gained approval as  an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar (that registrar being Domain Train).  Steven has handled many matters before the TTAB (Trademark Trial and Appeal Board), including numerous trademark opposition proceedings.
